Thousands of Canada geese call ehte Merkle Wildlife Sanctuary home during the winter.  The Frank Oslisio Visstor’s Center features exhibits about the goose as well as seasonal galleries.  The center includes a birwatching area and a kid pleasing live animal area with snakes, turtles and toads.

Allen Pond Park is an 85-acre (340,000 m2) multi-use park, located in and managed by the City of Bowie in Prince George’s County, Maryland.
