About Aquasco Maryland
The town of Aquasco, Maryland began in the 1600s as a farm town focused solely on the production of tobacco and tobacco products. The first roads in the town were built to transport the tobacco and it wouldn’t be until the mid-to-late 1800s that a functioning village would be established. The town, along with the rest of Prince George’s County, wouldn’t be incorporated until 1929. Today, Aquasco still holds the rural feel, but the area has become much more modern and increased its neighborly feel. Aquasco has very high ranked public schools and is known to be a safe place to reside.
The real estate market in Aquasco has much untapped potential. There are many newly renovated “old” homes as well as much new developments entering in the area. The average list price of residences in Aquasco, Maryland sits around $450,000, but many beautiful homes could be found under and over that price range.
